Fairbanks Spring Fling 2005

 RULES

 1.              Games will have a 5-minute warm-up with 3 running time periods of 16 minutes each.

 2.              Each team is allowed a 1-minute time out per game.

 3.              “Double rostering” is not allowed. Players may only play for one team in one division.

 4.              All players must be USA Hockey registered for the 2004-2005 season.

 5.              Players under 16 must be approved.

 6.              USA Hockey and ASHA rules for Adult hockey apply.

 7.              Slap shots will be allowed in the A division, but NOT allowed in the B division.

 8.              Players will be suspended for play from the rest of the tournament for any fighting or intent to injure penalties.

 9.              No protest shall be made on the playing rules.

 10.       Games that end in a tie will stay as a tie. There is no overtime or shootout.

 11.       Points will be awarded as follows: 2 point for a win, 0 points for a loss, and 1 point for a tie.

 12.       This is a round robin tournament.

 13.       The winning team will be decided by the following, in order:

·       Most Points

·       Head to Head

·       Least Goals Against

·       Least Penalty Minutes

·       Most Goals For

·       Point Differential (team +/-)

·       Coin Toss
